Bladewing Reanimator

In this deck we are going to find ways to cheat out the most iconic tribe in magic: Dragons! Dragons are the biggest baddest creatures out there but often come with a casting cost to match. That doesn't matter here. Our plan is to put dragons into our graveyard and cast spells to "return" them to the battlefield. This will give us explosiveness and longevity at the same time.

First we need to figure out what roles we need our 99 cards to play. We will start with 40 lands (which may change based on other mana sources). 59 more to go. Obviously we need our dragons. I'm thinking 20 dragons. 39 We need our reanimaor spells 15 to start. We need cards that put our dragons into the graveyard (enablers), another 15. This leaves 9 other cards. There isn't a whole lot of room for variance here so we need cards that play more roles when we can find them.

Enablers: - I
Faithless Looting- By far the best turn 1 spell we can cast. In this deck this gives us so much card advantage.
Tormenting Voice- New looting card from Khans
Liliana of the Veil- +1 is all upside for us. Other abilities will really help us break through as well.
Liliana Vess- +1 to discard our dragon, then -8 to reanimate everything late game sounds really good.
Reforge the Soul, Wheel of Fortune- discard our hand to draw 7.
Chandra Ablaze- This is likely the best place for this card.We can discard a red dragon to deal 4 damage and give us a reanimator target or use it as disruption while drawing 3 cards. It's kind of expensive though.
Smallpox- Fairly solid control card, we are using the for part that says each player discards a card.
Strongarm Tactics- Force our opponents to discard a creature or take 4, while we enable our graveyard.
Wild Guess- Another looter
Trading Post- Versatile and fills our need.
Scepter of Fugue- Enables our reanimator if we target ourselves then we can turn it on our opponents.
Jalum Tome- repeatable looting
Grimoire of the Dead- Chosen for the discard, but the ultimate sounds up our alley too.
Sneak Attack- Probably the best way to get a creature into the yard is to put it in play and beat our opponent with it first.

Reanimator:
Beacon of Unrest- very open ended reanimator spell. Also gets shuffled back into our library so we can draw and reuse it again.
Cauldron Dance- Very fun reanimator card when the right opportunity presents itself.
Exhume- One of my favorite reanimaor cards, also has some great political potential.
Strands of Night- The very best reanimator spell.
Tempt with Immortality- They will be tempted, also it seems to have a dragon on it...
Torrent of Souls- reanimate boost and give haste, yes please!
Victimize- Trade 1 for 2, almost always good.
Whip of Erebos- I'm only suggesting this card to use with our commander. Can still be used as a game ender. Also lifelink will be very useful.
Animate Dead- low cost is good enough and the -1 power shouldn't be too much of an issue
Necromancy- +1 mana and we don't have the power penalty
Fated Return- Indestructible reanimated dragons ftw (and at instant speed!)
Reanimate- Paying a lot of life isn't my cup of tea, but I like large creatures undercosted so I'm willing to pay.
Living Death- Mass Resurrection number 1
Patriarch's Bidding- and number 2
Rise of the Dark Realms- Even more massive

And DRAGONS!
Balefire Dragon- Is a pretty sweet must answer threat.
Flameblast Dragon- nice removal every time it attacks
Hellkite Charger- for extra combat step fun
Kokusho, the Evening Star- Unbanned now, so let's play him
Malfegor- Good way to clear the board
Scourge of the Throne- Very good when we are behind, which is when you want a card to be good
Scourge of Valkas- Tribal fun
Siege Dragon- Because it's funny killing everyone's changelings or hosing that wall deck. Also mini earthquakes seems fun.
Thundermaw Hellkite- Taking blockers out of the equation for a turn is really good
Vampiric Dragon- who doesn't want to play with a vampiric dragon?
Utvara Hellkite- creating more dragons when we attack is fun
Spawn of Thraxes- not sure how potent this card will be, but removal is removal
Shivan Hellkite- Good removal option
Knollspine Dragon- Great way to refill our hand
Rimescale Dragon- Now we just need to use snow covered basics
Scourge of Kher Ridges- great at keeping the ground cleared
Kilnmouth Dragon- Even just one amplify lets this guy be a good removal option.
Hoard-Smelter Dragon- Artifacts need removed too.
Forgestoker Dragon- Stops blockers
Bogardan Hellkite- 5 damage spread around.

Other cards: 6
Crucible of Worlds- This card is in here because it combos really well with Strands of Night. It's inclusion increases the value of fetchlands a lot so we will make sure to include them.
Sarkhan the Mad- Full of flavor and a nice alternate win. Or some draw if need be.
Illusionist's Bracers- Seem really good on our commander, also synergy with a few other creatures.
Expedition Map- There are a few toolbox lands, but mainly used to find
Elixir of Immortality- May seem out of place at first in reanimator, but sometimes we need to refill our library with our spells.
Quicksilver Amulet- Another way to cheat our guys into play if plan A doesn't work.

Mana: 5
Rakdos Cluestone- Early mana, late game can replace itself. Bonus points for trading post synergy.
Rakdos Signet- Signets are amazing for 2 color commander decks.
Sol Ring- I don't like to jam this into decks randomly, but dragons are expensive.
Thran Dynamo- No color fixing, but great ramp.
Worn Powerstone- And a little more ramp

Land: 38 (traded 2 lands for 5 artifact mana)
Bloodstained Mire, Evolving Wilds, Rocky Tar Pit, Terramorphic Expanse- Get the lands we need when we need them. So good with Crucible (searching for lands is the one searching I approve of)
Tectonic Edge , Strip Mine, Wasteland  - Deal with problematic lands.
Buried Ruin- Another way to save/reuse artifacts
Miren, the Moaning Well - Sometimes we need a sac outlet for our creatures.
Blackcleave Cliffs, Blood Crypt, Dragonskull Summit, Graven Cairns, Shadowblood Ridge, Tainted Peak- Mana fixing, all possible to come into play untapped.
Rakdos Carnarium - essentially drawing 2 lands when you draw this.
Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace- Discard a dragon, opponents discard stuff they don't want to.
Bojuka Bog - nice toolbox target
Spinerock Knoll- Hideaway should be able to trigger
Cavern of Souls- making our hardcast dragons uncounterable
Hall of the Bandit Lord- I want to try out giving my creatures haste
Homeward Path- DO NOT TAKE MY DRAGONS!!!!
Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep- Can't see a reason not to run this over a mountain
Shizo, Death's Storehouse- And very little reason not running this in place of a swamp
Tresserhorn Sinks- SNOW, almost forgot the snow!
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth- I hope they complete this cycle someday. Such a great card...
I count 26 non basics so 12 snow covered basics incoming.
7 Snow-Covered Mountain
5 Snow-Covered Swamp
